What this measures
- Latency
- Response time to Cloudflare, not a ping to your Wi-Fi router. Stability mode measures the full HTTP round trip; speed mode uses browser resource timing, so the figures may differ.
- Jitter
- Variation between consecutive response times. Lower is steadier.
- Loaded latency
- Response time while a transfer is running. Large increases can affect calls or gaming. A dash means unavailable, including when transfers finish too quickly to measure.
Wi-Fi & stability
A browser cannot read Wi-Fi signal strength or isolate Wi-Fi speed from your internet connection. Compare the same test near your router and farther away, or with Ethernet.
Failed HTTP requests can reflect timeouts, filtering or service problems. They are not a packet-loss measurement.
VPNs, other downloads and background tabs can affect results.
Recent results
History is off. Only completed tests are saved when enabled, up to 10 results.
