Stability mode measures the full HTTP round trip; speed mode uses browser resource timing, so the figures may differ.<\/dd><dt>Jitter<\/dt><dd>Variation between consecutive response times. Lower is steadier.<\/dd><dt>Loaded latency<\/dt><dd>Response time while a transfer is running. Large increases can affect calls or gaming. A dash means unavailable, including when transfers finish too quickly to measure.<\/dd><\/dl><\/section><section><h2>Wi-Fi &amp; stability<\/h2><p>A browser cannot read Wi-Fi signal strength or isolate Wi-Fi speed from your internet connection. Compare the same test near your router and farther away, or with Ethernet.<\/p><p>Failed HTTP requests can reflect timeouts, filtering or service problems.
